i believe in second chances. not only that but i've grown to learn to keep moving forward. no matter what brings you down, what pulls you to your lowest, makes you feel like you are just a piece a shit. there's nowhere to look but up. because in the end, everything will be alright. everything will be just fine. be happy that you are still living, be thankful for everything you have, for the friends who have your back and for those who tell you that they hope to see you suceed. be happy that you have those people.

the world is in our hands, we just got to know what we could make of it.

Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish wolfhound named Belker. The dog’s owners, Ron, his wife, Lisa, and their little boy, Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.
I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn’t do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.
As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience.
The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker’s family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away.
The little boy seemed to accept Belker’s transition without any difficulty or confusion. We sat together for a while after Belker’s death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives.
Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, “I know why.”
Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me.  I’d never heard a more comforting explanation.  He said, “People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life – like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?”
The six-year-old continued, “Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don’t have to stay as long.”

Resurrection

We are the reason
That He gave His life
We are the reason
Jesus suffered and died
To a world that was lost
He gave all He could give
To show us the reason to live

You are my number 1 <3 :(

Problem? If my parents let me go out to each of these events.

( Since you know usually I’m like foreveralone stuck at home half the time during spring break)

I will be asking ‘Hey Mom and Dad, I’m heading out to hang out with (blahblahblah) and I’ll be back by (blahblahblah)’ everyday!

My expectations.

“Okay have fun, dont be out so late”

Then I’ll be out with my friends like

But my unwanted reality

And then I get into some argument logical reasoning as the why I should go and they’re like

And then the plans are canceled. And I storm off like

But really once I get there, I’m in my room like

And my parents are just like

But yeah. I would really hate for that to happen to my spring break again
